First off, the game is a swiping game. You have to form a chain of at least three identical monsters in order to eliminate them from the board. You do this by clicking on one monster and then swiping across groups of identical ones in a line. Once the line has reached its end, the monsters explode and then are counted towards the level’s goals.

If you manage to swipe across more than 5 monsters, then you get to create a super bomb. You know what that means in Match 3 parlance – this super bomb, when matched with other identical but normal monsters, will detonate and take out all monsters within a line without regard for color or identity.
