The spider and his cannon are at it again. They’re now ready to join you in another exciting Bubble Shooter adventure that should keep you at the edge of your seat every time. Welcome to Bubble Buggie 2!

You can choose between playing this game on Facebook itself on the browser, or in the Gameroom app. The latter provides you the means of playing without being distracted by sudden pop-up notifications and chat boxes.

Bubble Buggie 2 retains the basic game mechanics that you might already be familiar with. However, for new players, the mechanics are very simple. Your mission, at least in the first few levels, is to bring down the entire pile of bugs without consuming all of the “bug bullets” in your arsenal.

To do this, you will need to shoot a bug bullet from your cannon into a group of bugs that have similar coloration. You have to find a way to get to the top row; eliminating nine of the bugs in that row will break the foundation and cause each and every bug to cascade down, thus ending the level.

You will, inevitably, find that the bug bullet that’s loaded in the cannon is not the one you need. You can change bullets by pressing on either the big spider on the right side, or below the cannon itself. You will need, however, to fire one of those bullets for it to be replaced or else you’ll just be swapping between the two bullets endlessly.

You’ll find that some of the bugs are hard to reach. You might want to try hitting them from an angle. To do that, you will need to fire the bullets at the wall adjacent to the bugs you want to hit, allowing it to deflect from the wall and hopefully sail towards that particular group of bugs.

That’s the basic mission of the levels, at least from the start. You will encounter more complicated missions in the later levels. As you progress, you also get to make use of power-ups. Learn how to use each one, and the game will become very easy to play, theoretically.

The developers are always building new levels, with new and unique challenges so you don’t ever run out of anything to do as a player of the game. Just stay tuned as the game updates itself periodically.

Now, for graphics - the images in Bubble Buggie 2 are top notch! The animation, especially when the bullets are fired, is smooth. The game sprites are crisp, highly detailed and a work of art to look at. Spiders can be icky to look at in real life, but the game manages to temper those fearsome features up with its main protagonist.
